Lent is the traditional time of renewal we often set aside to examine who we are, what we do, and how we reconcile ourselves with God, self and others. If that traditional time of change is too far off and you are looking for a way to refine your relationships today, take a journey suggested with the links below. Perhaps we long for Wisdom, or maybe we are looking for a road of Return to God. We may have become exhausted or weary with A Journey Too Far. We may be looking for an oasis in which to rest with other Disciples; or we may be looking for a way to break our journey into Stages. We may find ourselves in Hiatus; our Companions may have disappointed us and we may be wondering how to move on. Perhaps we look for new life and Restoration.
The reflections here are openings to a passageway that will take us to our best selves. They are opportunities to encounter the risen Christ, for what we discover when we spend time with scripture, when we reflect and pray, when we knock at heaven’s door, when we seek with the goal of finding . . . is not the empty tomb; rather, we come upon the Narrow Gate with which Christ challenges us. We stumble upon the humble door of our own willingness to serve Christ . . . and this door leads us to our infinite happiness and lasting transformation.
