Wednesday, December 19, 2012 – Proverbs 2 – The Path
Understanding
Intelligence
Fear of the Lord
Love of the Lord
Counsel
Justice
Rectitude
Discretion
Who would seek a God who offers anything less than this? Who would follow the crooked paths and perverse speech? Who will walk in darkness rather than the light? Who will leave the straight path to follow the one that sinks down to death?
Thus you may walk in the way of good men, and keep to the paths of the just. For the upright will dwell in the land, the honest will remain in it; but the wicked will be cut off from the land, the faithless will be rooted out of it.
As we prepare to move into the last week of Advent, let us seek what is good . . . what is just . . . what is wise. Let us stay to the straight path that leads to the light.
